A prototype · AI for life decisions

Every choice paints a portrait.
See them side by side.

Before you commit to a path, look it in the face. Add AI & Thrive imagines a gallery of competing future portraits of you, one per path, each ageing toward the life that choice could bring at one, five and ten years.

Prototype. Every projection on this site is a scripted illustration, not a prediction or advice.

The idea

A gallery of the people you might become

In the story behind this project, a person facing a hard decision is shown not one portrait but several. Each one is a different future self. Hang them on the same wall and let the years pass, and the faces start to diverge: one brightens, one tires, one carries a weight nobody else can see yet.

The idea borrows from Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray (1890), where a painted portrait quietly records the consequences its subject avoids. Here the portraits are on your side. They show you the long arc of a choice before you make it, while you can still pick the face you want to grow into.

Decide

Compare the paths in front of you across health, money, skills, relationships and fulfillment.

Upskill

See which skills each path asks of you, and when, so learning becomes part of the plan.

Notice the drift

Surface the slow, long-term trends shaping your life, the ones that never feel urgent on any given Tuesday.

Illustrative only · scripted example projections · not real predictions or advice

Choose a decision

These portraits are stylized illustrations drawn in code, not photos of real people. The notes are hand-written example scenarios meant to show the format. A real version would build them from your own situation, and even then they would be possibilities to think with, not forecasts.

How it would work

From a hard question to a clearer picture

  1. 1

    Your inputs

You describe the decision and the paths you’re weighing, plus the context that matters: where you are now, what you value, what you’re afraid of losing.

  2. 2

    Trend signals

The AI folds in the slow-moving forces around you, such as how AI is reshaping the work you do, the cost of where you live, and your own habits, and notes which way each one pushes every path.

  3. 3

    Competing portraits

Each path becomes a portrait with projected consequences at 1, 5 and 10 years across health, money, skills, relationships and fulfillment, with the assumptions shown so you can challenge them.

  4. 4

    Upskilling paths

For the path you lean toward, you get the skills it asks of you and a practical learning sequence, so the future face has a plan behind it.

  5. 5

    Decision journal

Record what you chose and why. Revisit the portraits later, compare them with what actually happened, and get better at deciding over time.

Possibilities, not prophecy

No one can see the future. The portraits are prompts for thinking, built on stated assumptions you can edit.

You decide

The tool lays out trade-offs. It never tells you what to do with your life.

Private by design

Life decisions are personal. The plan is to keep your journal yours, with no advertising.
